TO MY MOM

Mother’s day comes once a year. This is the first time that you are not here.

Those last few weeks I kept saying I love you on the phone. But you did not say it back. That made my feel alone.

I am sorry that I could not be there to hold your hand. But I guess that was not in GOD’S plan.

Now all I have is memories that I will hold in my heart and keep until it is my time to depart.

If there was a way to bring you the flowers you always loved, I would climb the stairs to heaven above.

I hope you have joined Dad and that you are glad.

Happy Mother’s Day

Love Miriam

To My Dad

As Father's Day is so near, it is your voice I wish I could hear.
I look at your picture everyday.
Thinking about what to say.
I can picture you in your den.
You were watching the Dolphins on TV.
I bet you'd be surprised at what a fan you made out of me.
You were always there to lend a helping hand.
But, God wanted you as part of his band.
Your last day was Thanksgiving of 1992.
I don't know how I made it through!
Sometimes I feel you are very near.
I look in the clouds, and see you very clear.
I miss you so much, especially, your light touch.
Dad, I hope you're at peace now.
I just want you to know I still love, and miss you so.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

As she climbed the stairs to Heaven, she could see a familiar smiling face in the clouds. As she got closer she saw "Her Beloved Husband" holding out his hands to welcome her home.

Finally, they were together again for eternity.
