This is Peanut.

He was only 3 months old.

Dumped at the shelter at Greenbrier County Humane Society/Animal Shelter - WV

BUT NO ONE CAME TO THE SHELTER TO ADOPT HIM.
SO THEY KILLED HIM FOR BEING 'UNWANTED'.

Only 3 short months and will never know what love- a home & family- playing ball is.

He was just a sweet little baby who wanted a chance at live and didn't get it.

Peanut was a beagle Lab mix, very shy at first but warmed up quite easily.

He was a very cute, adorable baby that needed to someone to care.

So many like this

Every 9 seconds- a shelter pet dies

Because

They too are unwanted!!!

You will be remembered little one.

God Speed Little One.

A Message from Peanut

Why am I being put to sleep
When there is a promise I need to keep
Of playing, snuggling and giving joy
To a little girl or lonely boy.
God put me here to make them glad,
Did I do something wrong?

Was I bad?

Dear Heavenly Father up above

Bless this little one who comes to you now.

Help him to ease his way to your heavenly home where he will find the love he never knew here on earth.

Let him play in the fields of green and with children to know what a child's love is all about.

He was so young and unwanted but now with Angels around him let him receive the love and care he wanted down here.
